RSD Media Pass Application
Media credentials allow approved photographers and videographers to operate closer to the action in designated areas. Because drifting involves vehicles moving at speed, safety, awareness, and professionalism are required at all times.
We value the role media plays in capturing the energy of our events and helping the sport grow. Approval is granted to individuals who demonstrate good judgment, respect for safety guidelines, and the ability to operate responsibly in an active motorsports environment.
Media Access Rules
Media access is a privilege and will be revoked if rules are not followed.
Content Sharing
Approved media are expected to share coverage from the event.
• A link to photos or videos must be provided after the event
• Ready Set Drift may repost content for promotional use with credit to the creator
• Media who do not submit content will not be approved for future events
Our goal is to showcase drivers, events, and the growth of grassroots drifting while supporting the creators who capture it.
Required Attire
Media working in restricted areas must wear:
• Long pants
• Closed-toe shoes
• Shirts covering shoulders
• High-visibility vest
Proper attire is required at all times while on track.
Driver Meeting Attendance
Media personnel must attend the driver meeting unless prior arrangements are made.
Important safety updates and media positioning instructions are often communicated during the meeting.
Designated Media Areas
Media must remain in approved areas at all times.
Media locations may change depending on the track layout or event format. If unsure whether an area is permitted, ask a staff member before entering.
When working near barriers or fencing:
• Do not extend limbs or equipment beyond barriers
• Do not create openings or modify fencing
Crossing the Track
The track may only be crossed when it is cold (not actively in use).
Crossing during live sessions is strictly prohibited and will result in removal of media access.
If assistance is needed, notify a Ready Set Drift staff member.
Ride-Alongs
Media ride-alongs may be permitted when:
• The vehicle has an approved passenger seat and harness setup
• Helmet requirements are met
• Driver approval is given
All limbs and equipment must remain inside the vehicle at all times.
Not all sessions allow passengers.
Zero Alcohol Policy
Alcohol or impairing substances are strictly prohibited for media working in restricted areas.
Anyone suspected of being under the influence will have credentials revoked immediately.
Conduct & Safety
Media must follow all instructions from Ready Set Drift staff and track personnel.
Unsafe behavior may result in removal from the event and loss of future media privileges.
Always remain alert and aware of your surroundings. Drifting is unpredictable, and conditions can change quickly.
